Accessibility statement

Last updated: October 2026

We want our website to work well for everyone, including with a screen reader, with a keyboard only or with magnification. This page explains how far we have come, where things still fall short and how you can report barriers to us. The information follows § 14 and Annex 3 of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG).

This translation is provided for convenience; the German version is legally binding.

What this statement covers

This statement applies to the website https://zwoelf87.de in German and English, operated by zwölf87 GmbH, Bachstraße 57, 88214 Ravensburg. On the website you can

  • book rooms in our hotel,
  • reserve a table in the restaurant and buy gift vouchers,
  • book places for our events and cooking classes,
  • send enquiries for parties, weddings and catering and arrange a phone call,
  • view our menus and brochures as PDFs.

How booking, reserving and enquiring work

For a room, you choose your arrival and departure dates on our website and then continue in the RoomRaccoon booking engine (room, guests, payment). Tables and gift vouchers are handled by Gastronovi’s reservation system, which is embedded in our pages as a window. You book places for events and cooking classes and send enquiries using our own forms; afterwards you receive a confirmation by email. You book a phone call via Calendly.

Everything also works without the website: by phone on +49 751 95877636 (restaurant and events) and +49 751 36602929 (hotel) or by email to info@zwoelf87.de.

How we meet the requirements

  • Structure: Every page has one main heading and structured subheadings. Header, menu, content and footer are marked up as separate regions, and a “Skip to content” link takes you straight to the content.
  • Keyboard: The menu, links, buttons, the calendar for arrival and departure and our forms can be used with a keyboard. A clear outline shows where you are.
  • Contrast: Text and buttons have a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 against the background.
  • Images: Photos with content have alternative text; purely decorative images are skipped by screen readers.
  • Language: Every page is marked up as German or English so that screen readers pronounce it correctly. You will find the English version under /en/.
  • Forms: Every field has a visible label.
  • Display: The site adapts to your screen width and can be zoomed in your browser. If you have “reduce motion” switched on in your system, we do without animations.

Compliance status

The website largely complies with the requirements of WCAG 2.1 at level AA and the European standard EN 301 549. Not yet fully accessible are:

  • Embedded services: room booking with RoomRaccoon, table reservations and gift vouchers with Gastronovi, and appointment booking with Calendly. These systems are run by the providers themselves; we have not fully tested them and cannot adapt them ourselves. If you get stuck there, we are happy to reserve or book for you by phone or email.
  • PDF files: Our menus and brochures are not prepared to be accessible. If you need something from them, just ask us by email or phone.

Report a barrier
