You’re probably getting married for the first time. We’ve planned and celebrated hundreds of weddings with couples, and we still look forward to every new one. We know the questions before you ask them, we know where a day like this tends to get tricky, and we make sure it feels easy for you.
Saying yes under the trees, a toast in the garden, dinner beneath the rib vaulting of the Spital, a medieval hospital building, dancing into the night. All in one place, cooked in our own kitchen, and your guests sleep three minutes’ walk away. On the day itself you only have one job: enjoy it.

What your wedding here costs.
No packages, no small print. We calculate your day individually and you get a clear figure. As a rough guide in advance, all prices including VAT:
Food
Festive set menu or flying buffet, put together for you. A festive set menu starts at about €79 per person.
Drinks
As a flat rate or by consumption, whatever suits you. From experience, €35 – 40 per person for five to seven hours.
Service included
5 hours of service with the full team, table setting and menu cards in zwölf87 design. After that €100 per hour, from midnight €150. Drinks flat rates apply to the booked time; during extra hours we charge drinks by consumption.
Celebrant-led ceremony
Set-up, seating and clearing away in the Spital garden or the chapel: €400. You bring your own celebrant.
The venue for you
From the afternoon, only your guests are here. Minimum spend on Saturdays from May to September €6,000, on other Saturdays €4,000, on Fridays €3,000. Most weddings are well above that anyway.
Flowers & cake
We plan flowers and table decorations with our florist to suit your concept. You bring the cake, or we can put you in touch with a pâtissière.
Overnight stay
22 renovated rooms at Hotel traumwerk, three minutes’ walk away. We hold a block of rooms for your guests.

Your guests sleep three minutes’ walk away.
Our hotel in Schulgasse has 22 renovated rooms, self check-in from 15:00, arrive as late as you like, so your guests can still get in at two in the morning. We hold a block of rooms for your wedding party. For your wedding night, we’re happy to keep one of our suites for you.
The next morning you sit together over breakfast and go through the evening all over again.

What couples ask us beforehand
Can we have our civil ceremony with you?
The civil ceremony takes place at the Ravensburg registry office, which is within walking distance. Here you have a celebrant-led ceremony, in the Spital garden or in the chapel, with your own celebrant.
And if it rains on the day?
Then you say yes in the chapel, right next to the restaurant. The Spital garden is plan A, the chapel plan B, and both are just a few steps from the vaulted hall.
How many guests can you fit?
Up to 75 guests can sit down to the set menu, and that is the number to plan with. With a flying buffet, when people stand more than they sit, it’s up to 90. In summer the Spital garden is added for the ceremony and reception. That doesn’t mean more guests, though, because in bad weather everything has to fit indoors.
What does a wedding with you cost?
A festive set menu starts at about €79 per person, and drinks are usually around €35 – 40 per person. On Saturdays from May to September there’s a minimum spend of €6,000, on other Saturdays €4,000, on Fridays €3,000. After we’ve met, you’ll get a quote listing every item.
How far in advance should we enquire?
Many couples enquire a year or more ahead, especially for Saturdays in summer. Fridays and winter dates are often possible at shorter notice too. Just ask and we’ll tell you whether your day is still free.
Can we bring our own suppliers?
DJ, band, photographer, celebrant: yes, of course. We plan flowers with our florist; you bring the cake or we put you in touch with a pâtissière. Your favourite wine is welcome, with a corkage fee of €20 per bottle.
Do children eat with us?
Of course. The little ones get a children’s menu or a smaller portion of the chosen menu.
Can our guests stay overnight with you?
Yes, at Hotel traumwerk, three minutes’ walk away. 22 rooms, self check-in from 15:00, arrive as late as you like. We hold a block of rooms for your guests.
How late can we party?
The party ends at 2:00 at the latest. 5 hours of service are included in the menu price; after that we charge by the hour.
